L came home with this beautiful crown on his head the other day. It's such a lovely thing. He wears it all the time and when I decide something he disagrees with he says very seriously: "I am king so I decide!". It makes me want to wrap him in my arms and hold him forever. His blue crown reminds me of one of my favorite books and movies: Where the wild things are by Maurice Sednak. It's about a boy who escapes his present where everything is unfair and goes to a land where the wild things are and becomes king of all the wild things. It's a beautiful story and the book is fun. I've read it many times to both L and M and they always loved it.
